We have NO monthly service charges, per transactions fees or other activity costs.
Plus, we have special member only pricing on the printing of checks through Liberty check printers. Most check orders are priced under $10.00 (delivered). You only pay for the check printing as you need them.Your first order of 50 standard checks is free. A minimum deposit is required to cover any costs incurred for non-standard checks, and you must have at least $1 in your account at all times for it to remain open.Checking accounts can also be opened jointly with a "non-member" of the credit union.
Overdraft protection is availabile on request and is linked to your Share Savings Account. In the event of an overdraft, a $5 overdraft fee will be charged. With nearly 24-hour access to our audio response "R-Oxy" you should always be able to avoid this "penalty fee" and remain a member in good standing.
Checking Accounts pay quarterly dividends rate which are compounded daily when the account maintains a minimum $250.00 daily balance. Check out our current rates.
Checking Account statements are sent monthly.
A maximum cash withdrawal and/or check cashing priviledge of up to $1,500 per day is allowed. Withdrawals exceeding this amount will be honored in the form of a Credit Union Draft.
FREE ATM Card to go along with your checking account
Checking account members can receive a FREE ATM Card (on approval) and FREE unlimited access to our Packard Road ATM Machine with access to checking (or savings*) account. Our ATM card is honored at all NYCE and Cirrus ATM locations. Please be aware that many ATM operators (not the credit union) impose certain fees for using their machines. These are always clearly posted or indicated in the process of making a transaction. It is the consumer's choice whether to pay these fees by using a specific machine.Niagara's Choice FCU ATM cardholders may process SIX "No Credit Union Surcharge" transactions each month; at ATM machines other than the credit union's Packard Rd location. Each additional transactions in a month will be assessed a $1.00 surcharge.The card can also be used at Big K (mart), Target, Walmart, Wegmans, Rite Aid, Tops Supermarkets and frequently for at-the-pump purchases at leading gas stations. These "at the register" transactions will also often permit a request for additional "CASH" back in addition to payment for purchases and do not incur transaction fees.

FREE VISA Check Card - "the world's thinnest checkbook"
Niagara's Choice Visa Check Card looks like a credit card but acts like a check. No need to lug around a bulky checkbook. Just use your credit union debit card with any merchant that accepts Visa transactions.
You can use your Visa Check card in person, by phone, or on-line.The Visa Check card also acts as an ATM Card.
You may withdraw cash at area ATM machines as needed.
When using the Visa Check card as an ATM Card you can make six (6) cash withdrawals per month without a fee.
Each cash withdrawal after the sixth (6th) one in a given month, initiated at machines other than the credit union's Packard Road location, will be assessed a $1.00 fee. Remember, individual ATM Machines may impose their own surcharge fee.
